Little Family Visit!

Yesterday Mom and I took a short road trip to Arab. We went to see Mom's sister Cathy and all her children/grandchildren. Jennifer just had a new baby (Ruby Cate) and we went to see her. We had a good visit and Curt loved playing with Charlie and his toys. We also went outside while Charlie mowed and Curt swung. Also, check out Curt's new outfit. His Gram made it and is taking orders! Hahahaha!!

9 Months and Counting!

The time is flying by and here we are at 9 months. Curt has not changed that much in appearance this last month, but he is doing so much more. Friday was his 9 month check-up with Dr. Goldblatt. Curt weighed 25lbs and was 32 inches long. Can we say TALL!!! Everything looked good and after nagging the Dr. for a few minutes about Curt's ears he decided to go ahead and put tubes in. After 3 ear infections and constant drainage, I've had about all I can take. So sometime this summer we will have the procedure. Hopefully it will fix the problem. Curt is still crawling and now pulling up. If it's in front of him, he is likely to pull up on it. He wears 18 month outfits and still in size 4 diapers. His little personality is starting to shine. He points at things and jabbers like I am supposed to know what he is saying. He has starting saying Bye-Bye and going over to the door. On a negative side, he has developed a little temper and likes to show it when he is sleepy and not wanting his diaper changed or sitting in the car seat. Baby Einstein is our best friend and makes rides a lot easier these days. I am loving this age and it is so much fun to watch him do somthing new everyday. Each month gets better and better and I can't for many more to come. Below are some pictures I took after his 9 month check-up Friday. The one at the bottom Linda Kay took on Thursday when she kept him.

Walking In Memphis

Mother's Day weekend Anna and I ventured to Memphis to see our men for the the weekend. We had such an adventure with a 2 year old and 8 month old in the car with us. Thanks to my awesome driving skills and Anna tending to the young ones we made it there and back safely. I couldn't imagine any other way I would have wanted to spend my 1st Mother's Day than with my family. It was truly the perfect gift!! We had a blast together. Saturday we went to the Memphis Zoo for a few hours. I can honestly say that Lee and I enjoyed it way more than Curt. He just liked the fact that he was outside and being pushed in his stroller. He was such a good little trooper. Let me just add that the Memphis Zoo rocks and we will be taking him back there when he gets old enough to appreciate it. After the zoo we lounged around and had a nice dinner together as a family. Lee will be home Memorial Day weekend, so we are counting down the days. Only 2 more months until he is home for good :)
