Sitting Up and Reading

Oh how time flies.....seems like only yesterday I was taking pictures of Curt laying on the floor. Now he is starting to sit up. Tonight was one of the first times he sat up for a long period of time and played. I still have to sit with him and make sure he doesn't fall over, but he did a great job. He is growing up so fast and each day he is changing more and more.

Splish Splash Curt Loves His Bath!!

Bath Time has got to be the highlight of Curt's day. Since the day I gave him his first one he has been in love. Not one tear has been shed :) Now that I have my new camera I am very motivated to take more pictures. Bath time usually comes at night when we are getting ready for bed, so I rarely take pictures. Aunt Katie was here this weekend, so she took some for us.

All done :) Now I am very happy and ready for bed.

I Got A New Camera!!!

After realizing how my pictures weren't that great when I would print them, I decided that I needed to upgrade to a new camera. I was in love with the picture quality of my MIL's pictures and knew I wanted something like what she had. After seeing a bundle deal at Best Buy I knew it was time to get one! I ended up getting a Nikon D5000. The bundle came with the camera, a extra battery, and the 55-200 lens. Even after taking just a few pictures last night I already know I AM IN LOVE!! Green Beans and New Hobbies

So this week we have introduced our first vegetable to Curt. We had currently been eating rice cereal mixed with applesauce and he loves it. I thought I would begin a veggie since we had already mastered a fruit. I went to the grocery store last night and purchase the green beans and bananas. As I stood there choosing which jars to purchase I got really sad realizing that my baby is eating baby food now. He can't possibly be old enough for this! Long story short he loved the green beans (obviously since it is all over him) and he even got a dessert of applesauce. He is doing such a great job eating his "big boy" food and I couldn't be any more proud. Also, Tank has a new hobby at the Cashion household. He loves to sit in his old bed in front of the fireplace. This is really a sight to see because he will be burning up and panting, yet he refuses to move. All this cold weather must be getting to him as well :)

Naked and Loving to Play

So after a long day of church and Sunday afternoon naps, Curt decided to take his clothes off and play a little. He loves to sit with his daddy and of course "be naked". As soon as I took his clothes off he got very excited.

Happy New Year!!

My New Year's Resolution is to start blogging. So here we go.......
Katie came over for New Year's Eve and we got Curt in the spirit. He was very excited as you can tell. He is going to grow up so much this year. I can't wait to see and experience everything. Happy New Year!!
